Caveman...Cavewoman...Caveperson is more nuetral


Most know that paleo is also known as the caveman diet due to what the foods consist of.  If we are to analyze the types of food cavemen ate they would be extremely simple to find and simple to prepare.  They didn’t have access to or used any preservatives in their foods.  Everything was as natural as possible.

They survived by eating a mixture of proteins, carbs and yes even fat was consumed.  It is never recommended to eat just one of these food groups but rather to develop a balance of all of them.  One item that paleo doesn’t include is dairy which would be difficult for a caveman to get a hold of.

Protein is found in almost every type of meat there is available and one surprising source of protein is spinach which is very rich in protein.  

For dessert you can expect a lot of fruits, since dairy isn’t allowed then ice cream is pretty much out of the picture.
