Paleo and Dr. Oz

Seems that in our day and age all you have to do is turn on the TV and you will find some expert talking about weight loss.  Even popular TV doctor, Dr. Oz has recently discussed paleo and paleo diets on his show.

Stats show that 33% of all Americans are overweight and that 35.9% are obese.  With that being said logically Diabetes is also on the rise.  There is also a rise in high blood pressure, liver and kidney problems and the obvious heart conditions that can even lead to strokes.
Many struggle with weight loss all over the world not only in the United States.  All this is due to our poor choices in eating.  That’s why with some exercise and a balanced eating plan, including paleo inspired recipes can be the way to go.
Just remember that with everything balance is needed and before starting any diet plan you should always consult your doctor to make sure that whatever program you’re going to go on is the healthy choice for you.  After all you’re looking to lose weight to be healthier, not to put your health at risk

If you can go online and you can see what Dr. Oz had to say regarding paleo diets and recipes.  It was an interesting show that I recommend anyone who is thinking about getting into paleo to check out.
